After School Link Party

Welcome to the After School Link Party!
Disney's Frozen go along snack idea

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving break. Our family certainly enjoyed our time together. We had the chance to see the movie Frozen and had some fun with it at home. See our "Roll a snowman, ice cream in a bag" for a Frozen inspired treat!

December Table Topics for families

I've so enjoyed the monthly table topics from Jodie at Growing Book by Book.  Her December Table Topics are a wonderful way for families to reflect on the past year.  Visit her blog to print out a whole year worth of dinnertime fun!

how to teach children map skills

I thought this post "Learning about Maps for Kids-an Easy Introduction" from Sarah at How Wee Learn was so clever.  Check out her post to see how she used painters tape to map her house and had her son explore the house with his "paper" family.  I think we'll try this over winter break in a few weeks!
