Little J has been designing a monster for the past couple of weeks. His class his hosting a "Monster Museum" for the parents on Halloween. The assignment is to use recycled materials to build a not too scary monster and the best part, "It's not your mummy's project!". They have also written a scary story about their monster and a "how to build my monster" paper. His inventor's box came in very handy!
I've been so impressed to watch him work a little each day to finish his project. He started by looking through all his materials and playing around with them until he started to get a good idea of what he wanted his monster to look like. He asked me to save certain materials to add to his project. He says his monster is special because it can shoot lasers. He has saved a few LED candles to turn on for the museum that will be the monster's lasers.
