Summer "I Wonder…" Board, Keep Young Minds Learning

Summer vacation is just over 7 weeks away for us. It may seem forever away, but those weeks fly by at the end of the school year. I've been thinking of ways to shake things up a bit this summer. We'll still do our summer bucket list, but I've also decided to do an "I wonder…" board.

I'm having the kids write down things they wonder…how something is made, why something is the way it is, etc. If your kids are like mine, they ask a thousand questions a day and this is a great way to let them find the answers.

We'll pick one or two a week to research.  Finding the answer might take trips to the library, field trips, experiments, emails to experts, who knows, but it will be fun!

I found the border to our slips at TPT, it is a free download and then just add your text.  Also, I found this neat website, Wonderopolis, that is pretty fun for kids to explore.
Coming May 1st!

Strangely, Smarty is always stumped when presented with "I want to learn" challenge. It only comes up in unexpected situations. I love you "I wonder" idea!
