After School Link Party

Welcome to the After School Link Party!
fall sensory garden ideas

We finished our fall planting this past week and have started to enjoy our fall sensory garden area. The kids have enjoyed having after school snacks and doing homework outside.

Features
Woodland animal craft for kids

I thought these "Woodland Paper Cone Animals" from Zing Zing Tree were so adorable and they look so easy to make.  She shows us how to make this fox, a badger, and a mouse.  You can certainly take the idea and run with it. I think my kids would find this a great creative activity.

Apple stamping craft for kids

I also really liked the "Fall Colour Apple Stamping" project from Happy Hooligans.  It's apple stamping with a "twist".  The colors they used and how they stamped made their art look rather abstract.

Zing Zing Tree post is one of my features as well. We did our planting too this year, and hope to enjoy some cooler weather herbs this fall and winter.
