After School Link Up

Welcome to the After School Link Up!

It's been one of those crazy busy weeks, that when it ends you wonder what made it so busy.  Please tell me I'm not the only one that has those kinds of weeks.  Soccer started up again and the kids are thrilled to be playing again.  The week was pretty cold, but we were able to get outside for some walks, playground time, and sweeping at Grammy's house.  She just had her brick patio area power washed and the kids thought is was so fun to help spread the new sand.

Little Wonders' Days

It sounds like Train Up A Child gets less snow than we do, but that didn't stop them from having a fun snowball fight.  See how they did it here.

Becky at Kid World Citizen has great ideas of how kids can volunteer in her 35 Service Projects for Kids.  I think there are more than a few ideas my kids would enjoy doing for others.

Trillium Montessori has a fun lesson plan for learning more about whales.  I love the visual for showing how long whales are and there are printable cards about whales too!

It is (slowly) starting to warm up here, and I'm excited to start spending more time outside again!
