You can see how our summer bucket list started in this post. We have enjoyed doing a summer bucket list for a few years now. We sit down and talk about what everyone is looking forward to doing for summer(which is an adventure in itself). I write our list out, add a few fun twists, and throw it all in a bucket.
The activities are color coded for how much time an activity will take. I printed our activities on colored scrapbook paper and then we put the slips in our bucket. The kids take turns choosing a slip accordingly. I try to have most of the necessary supplies on hand so we can get right down to the fun. Some of our activities need to be planned, like our road trip with Nana or outdoor concerts, so they will be on the calendar already. Some days we won't pull a slip at all and other days we might throw it back and try for a different slip.

Even though summer doesn't officially start until late June, we'll start our summer bucket list when the kids get out of school, which is the first week of June. We have yet to complete a summer bucket list, but that's okay, we have fun trying! You can see our 2011 list here and our 2010 list here.

The party rules are pretty simple....
- Link up your summer bucket lists that are kid/family friendly.
- Include a party button or text link on your post or blog.
- Have fun reading some other links.

I link to these parties, Linking to The Educators' Spin On It

Hi April,
I'm not sure what is going on with your link. I went ahead and deleted it because I couldn't get it to work either. I'd love for you to try to link up again and we'll see if it works.
