I'll be posting features from this week's party next Sunday, so check back at the AfterSchool party and see if you were featured!

We had another busy, but fun week.  Little J's school had a math and science night that was so exciting for the kids that they're still talking about it.  He saw a marshmallow catapult demonstration, but didn't get to do one himself.  So, we followed up at home by making and playing with one for our Friday Fun activity.

The kids have been enjoying our April book basket, which is filled mostly with poetry books.  We try to read a little at breakfast or dinner, sometimes both.
We hit the strawberry farm again, picking 6 pounds in no time.  We spent a little time looking at the plants and seeing where the strawberries grew from the blossoms and how they were green before turning red.

We haven't gotten to do the Earth Day craft I had intended to do with the kids.  However, we sat down yesterday and watched some of  the Planet Green series.  The kids completely enjoyed it.

So, what have you been up to after school?

Sounds like you had a lot of fun. I have to look up our U-Pick schedule - this would be something new for us. Thanks for hosting Afterschool this week.
