Easy Kids Christmas Craft "O Come All Ye Faithful" Crowns

easy kids christmas crafts

"O Come All Ye Faithful" was the carol I taught the kids a few days ago.  We sang the first verse and chorus.  We talked about what it means to "adore" someone and ways that we can show Jesus that we adore him.

The kids made these easy paper plate crowns as our go along craft.  They painted a plate gold and then glued sequins on it.

To make the arches of the crown, we made hole in the center of the plate and then cut triangles and folded them back toward the center. I helped the younger two cut the crown part.

These are amazing and pefect for the wisemen!I'm thinking I could use them throughout the year, though for dress up play or retelling fairy tales. I'll have to pin it so I remember. Thanks!
