"Tea"cher Appreciation Gift

Photobucket
Little J brought his teachers sun tea kits with this fun tag attached to them yesterday.

We removed the tea bags from their original boxes and placed them in clear favor bags tied with some ribbon.Photobucket

We included a few honey sticks tied with ribbon and a lemon.

Then we finished the gift off with a couple of matching cups.  Of course I didn't remember to get a picture of the final gift, but his teachers loved it.

What you'll need for a sun tea kit
A beverage dispenser with a spigot (we found ours at Target)
2 matching glasses
An assortment of tea bags
A few honey sticks
One lemon
Some shredded colored paper and ribbon

We just put some shredded paper in the bottom of the beverage dispense and then layered the remaining items inside it.

Very nice gift. Our teacher appreciation is in the end of May, and I am still thinking of ideas.

My daughter is giving a themed gift to her teacher each day this week as part of the teacher appreciation week organized by our PTO. This would be a nice gift for the "special drink" day.

Me and my daughter printed up a bunch of thank you cards for the class to fill out, then made a calage around a "great teacher/thank you" award and put them to poster board with my daughter drawling and coloring designs on it. On the thank you cards each student thanked the teacher for whatever they wanted to thank him for. it turned out great. not bad for a single father of a 10 yr old girl, being crafty and all LOL. thanks for you blog, it is fun to read.
