Using some pictures from past zoo trips, I made a set of 3 part cards and a zoo scavenger hunt for the kids. If you have questions about using 3 part cards, Montessori Print shop has a good blog post here about them. Juiciness and Sassyfras have loved getting them out and working with them this week.

Great idea! Our zoo is opening a new exhibit next month. This would be a great way to celebrate. :)

That is a fun idea. I've thought about doing that from time to time, but haven't followed through. Glad to see someone else has.

I like the idea of modifying the cards, so J can think about geography and diet too. I am too lazy to make 3-part cards, but we got one as a gift, and Anna really enjoyed them.
