Zoo Scavenger Hunt and 3 Part Cards

Photobucket

Using some pictures from past zoo trips, I made a set of 3 part cards and a zoo scavenger hunt for the kids.  If you have questions about using 3 part cards, Montessori Print shop has a good blog post here about them.  Juiciness and Sassyfras have loved getting them out and working with them this week.

I like this idea. I love to be able to use my own pictures for things like this.

Great idea! Our zoo is opening a new exhibit next month. This would be a great way to celebrate. :)

I'm your newest follower. I found your blog off of spell out loud's tumblr page, and love these zoo cards. Thanks for sharing.

That is a fun idea. I've thought about doing that from time to time, but haven't followed through. Glad to see someone else has.

Kelly, what a great idea! I have lots of pics from the zoo that would be perfect for this -- thanks for posting!

I like the idea of modifying the cards, so J can think about geography and diet too. I am too lazy to make 3-part cards, but we got one as a gift, and Anna really enjoyed them.

Great idea! I can't wait for the weather to warm up for us to get to the zoo!
