Homework Box

Little J started having homework assignments a couple of weeks ago.  He's had access to all the materials that he has needed, but I finally put together a center to make it much easier.

I found this carrier on clearance at Michael's.  I used plastic takeout containers and filled them with colored pencils, crayons, and markers.  The outside pockets have regular pencils, erasers, tape, glue, and scissors.  His homework folder and papers fit nicely inside as well.  It sits on his table in his room, but can easily be picked up and moved to a different location if he decides to work elsewhere.

My son has a homework pouch with the materials he needs to complete homework. It is nice to have everything together and not have to search for anything.

It looks like a very inviting place for homework, and I enjoyed reading about your night walk. We should surprise daughter with a walk in the dark one of this days - this will also prepare her for Halloween :)
