Wooden Numbers, Math Monday Everyday

I bought a set of large and small wooden numbers last year for Little J to use.  Each night I set out a number for him to read to me and he sets one out for me to read to him.

I've started doing the same thing for Sassyfras and Juiciness with the numbers 1-25.  I started by simply telling them the name of the number and now they can tell me the names of many of the numbers before I tell them.

We have the same wooden numbers! But I haven't introduced large numbers yet. The wooden tablets feel so nice though, don't they?

We have these numbers too and I love them. They feel so nice. I've introduced big numbers to Bear, but we haven't done much since the introduction. http://theadventuresofbear.blogspot.com
