Fruit Loop Rainbows

We tried to make fruit loop necklaces using the old yarn and cereal deal, but Sassyfras and Juiciness had a hard time holding on to floppy yarn and sliding a fruit loop on, even when one end was taped to the table.  They put a few on the then grew tired and frustrated.  So, I gave them each a chenille stem with one end curled and they did great stringing the cereal.  (Of course Juiciness had to eat his fill first.)

You have some great rainbow activities, Kelly! I featured your rainbow posts and Fruit Loop rainbow photo in my Montessori-Inspired Rainbow Activities at http://livingmontessorinow.com/2012/04/26/montessori-inspired-rainbow-activities-and-rainbow-blog-hop/

This looks like a great idea! We just did our first rainbow activity, and I have a lot of fruit loops left to use up (or she'll eat them all instead, lol). I think we'll try this next. Thanks for sharing.
